The 'Flex Feeder' is a specialty re-circulating conveyor that moves parts around the surface to provide separation as the components are moved past a video inspection area. The inspection area can be adapted with a translucent surface to provide backlighting if required. When the 'Vision System' recognizes a component, the information is sent to a robotic 'pick and place' system for loading into a machine or process. The vibratory re-circulator can be stopped or started based on control from the vision system or robotic loader. The Flex Feeder can also be used as a stand alone inspection system when used with a video inspection system and exit conveyor with Good/Bad part eject capability.
